Virginia “Ginny” Bartlett (CIPM, CIPP-IT, CIPP-US) is an Executive Advisor specializing in privacy and cybersecurity assessments and guidance. She joins Webshield with nearly 20 years global in-house compliance leadership positions at data rich companies such as Pearson, Merck, IMS Health, MetLife, and Sony. Ginny currently advises clients of Silicon Valley’s premier early stage technology law firm Fenwick & West and leads multinational data mapping and assessments for clients of Booz Allen Hamilton and privacy solution provider TrustArc. She also recently served as an Advisory Board Member to IKeepSafe and International Association of Privacy Professionals and Data Protection Officer to a K12 interoperability nonprofit funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

 

A graduate of Kellogg School of Management Women Director’s Program, Ginny currently resides in the New York Metropolitan area and enjoys exploring new technologies and spending time with her husband and her two internationally adopted children. She holds several IAPP privacy certifications as well as a Six Sigma process management accreditation.
