Stan Trepetin has over twenty-five years’ experience in the IT sector, with a significant emphasis on IT Security. Currently, he is the firm-wide lead for Information Security Governance and Compliance for Citadel, a leading-edge hedge fund.

 

He is a former Senior Vice President of Security Architecture, Strategy, and Innovation at Citibank where he assessed and designed security architecture of critical Citi systems, including payment platforms. He was the Chief Information Security Officer for the 7000-person New York City Department of Health where he set strategy and policy for protecting patient data. He has also held senior leadership positions in HSBC Bank and the Clearing House.​

Mr. Trepetin holds several patents in the Information Security domain of privacy-preserving data analysis. He has an undergraduate degree in Computer Science/Mathematics from Cornell, a Masters degree in Technology Policy from Duke University, and a PhD in Health Informatics from MIT.
