
Walter Pistor comes to us through Ping Identity tasked with developing their healthcare vertical. He is passionate about healthcare interoperability and patient awareness and education. While at Axway, Walter led the development of the Provider eco-system to a $50M market from 2010 – 2016. He brings a long track record of high performance in building strategic relationships with complex, enterprise healthcare and life science companies as well as statewide entities ranging from $9B to $120B in annual revenues. Walter led various teams to establish a new product offering (Self-service interface development for automated batch file transfers) with a top 5 healthcare provider while helping them achieve Meaningful Use requirements. He was instrumental in co-developing a federated model for a profitable HIE for Washington State, Idaho and Alaska, and led a complex team for a successful global drug serialization project with a top Bay Area pharmaceutical company.
Walter also was strategically involved in the development of an API and App eco-system for a Fortune 8 drug retailer from 2013-2015. Walter’s most recent academic experience extends to an AI course for business with MIT gaining proficiency in identifying business opportunities to leverage AI for competitive differentiation, cost leadership, and focus.
