Tom has spent 20 years in the Health IT field as a sales, marketing, and business development executive as well as an entrepreneur. Throughout Tom's career, he has focused on challenging areas in healthcare such as Health Information Exchange, fully integrated hospital information systems and clinical research. As Chief Executive Officer of ePatientFinder, Tom has been able to bring his deep technology and healthcare experience to the life-sciences sector to address numerous unsolved challenges in clinical research. The most significant of which being the trial recruitment sector. 

 

Stemming from a personal experience, Tom founded ePatientFounder to connect life-science companies with a network of clinics, hospitals, and Accountable Care Organizations to identify patients for clinical trial options that address chronic disease and cancer. ePatientFinder is the only trial recruitment solution to partner directly with physicians and utilize electronic health record data.

 

Prior to founding ePatientFinder, Tom was the President of iMedicor, a publicly traded Health Information Exchange provider. Tom guided the strategic direction of the product which was the first HIE platform to be coupled with a professional network platform. iMedicor is used by thousands of physicians and dentists to communicate in a secure and regulatory compliant fashion. Prior to iMedicor, Tom was Chief Executive Officer of NuScribe. As the Founder of NuScribe, Tom was able to create the market's first web-based, voice recognition driven documentation solution. NuScribe was acquired by iMedicor in 2006.
