Siva Kannan is an engineering Executive with a strong technical background in Operating Systems, Security, IoT, and Distributed Systems. He has experience in defining and developing architecture of multiple scalable, secure and reliable software platforms. He has built world-class engineering teams at both large and small companies. After graduating from the University of Madras, Siva worked at Microsoft, Symantec, and myDevices, an IoT platform startup. During his IoT platform stint, he has built multiple product and platform prototypes by directly working with major OEM and ODM vendors like Samsung, LG, Sony, Toshiba, Fujitsu, Dell, NTT, Foxconn, Compal and Quanta to gain new business. He recently joined Gem to combine his passions for building operating systems and IoT to build a blockchain platform.
