Rich is the CTO and Co-Founder of WebShield. He is a Technical Entrepreneur with 30 years experience in developing complex software systems for both startups and enterprise companies, as a contributor, architect, development manager, product manager, and VP of Engineering. His interests are in distributed systems, database internals, trust frameworks, applied cryptography, blockchain technologies, team building, and the art of software development. After hours he enjoys backpacking, surfing, and discovering new microbreweries.​​
